At the Royal College of Art, I studied 'Computer Related Design'. The course specialized in designing user interfaces on products and services.
I presented three pieces of work at his final show in 1991:
- An interactive multimedia piece exploring the design process of a joint project between an architect and a vehicle designer. I used cutting edge video disk and graphics card technologies to present an interactive audio-visual narrative of the whole design process.
- An Interactive radio, exploring what possibilities there could be if radio was digital, memory for audio storage were cheap, and meta data were available.
- I also worked closely with a holographer to use the latest digital imaging techniques to qualify where motion footage would create a successful hologram, to avoid wasting time and expensive materials in the processing lab.
